New TripleClicks features and policies

 Effective immediately, we are testing some new features and policies.

1. All ECAs can now accept MRP as a payment option!  Yes, you can now spend your MRP on virtually every product listed at TripleClicks!

2. ALL Pricebenders auctions are now open to ALL bidders from ALL countries!  Here are the details:

For physical items, the auction item will be available for shipment only to US and Canada members (see silver/gold exception in FAQs).  If you live in any other country, you may now bid on any auction item, but if you win the item, you will be offered your choice of a TC gift certificate or a quantity of TCredits (each of which can be redeemed on virtually any product at TripleClicks).

Here’s an example: You bid on a tablet and win.  But because you live in Germany, when you check out, you’re offered your choice of a gift certificate or a quantity of TCredits.  You choose the gift certificate.  You can now purchase a tablet from a local ECA.  Also, because it’s local, shipping time is likely greatly reduced.  In addition, many truly messy issues we’ve had to deal with–like shipping restrictions on the shipment of electronics (and other products), going through Customs, etc.–are also greatly minimized or eliminated altogether.  Yes, a gift certificate greatly streamlines Pricebenders for our international members!

Special Notes:

A. No exchanges (either gift certificates or TCredits) will be available on digital items.

B. All auctions winners will be required to pay the ending (winning) price before choosing to accept a gift certificate or TCredits.

C. The value of TC gift certificates will be our approximate cost for the item and will expire after 180 days (Pricebenders gift certificates must be used within 180 days).

D. US and Canada members who win auctions for physical products will actually have three choices.  You may choose to take the item won, a gift certificate, or TCredits.

Big opportunity for ECAs

We are very excited about our new gift certificates program for Pricebenders and we think it’s going to provide a much, much better experience for our international winners.  But we’re not stopping there.  To truly empower this program, we want to align the program with our ECAs in a way that makes the experience even better yet–while boosting the sales opportunity for our ECAs around the world, too.

What we want to see is our ECAs stocking many of the same or similar products that we’re auctioning at Pricebenders. For ECAs that accomplish this (and are proven and reliable of course), we will refer winners of gift certificates directly to you!

Example: You live in South Africa and you are the winning bidder for a premium cookware set.  At checkout, we would provide you with a list of ECAs in your region that have this or a similar cookware product available.  With just a couple clicks, you can place an order with the ECA of your choice for the product (or similar product) you won using your gift certificate…and potentially receive it in just a couple days!  Slick!

Q: How do I redeem a gift certificate?
Simply choose “gift certificate” as your payment option when you check out.

Q: Can gift certificates be saved up and/or combined?
Yes, this is a great way to earn big, highly-coveted items such as a fast, new computer for your SFI business!  Note, however, that gift certificates won at Pricebenders expire in six months (180 days).

Q: How long will it take before ECAs can be listed with products to redeem my gift certificates on?
The timeframe is unknown as it’s dependent mostly on our ECAs, but we’ll start spreading the word with our ECAs now…and you can do the same.  In the meantime, we recommend that you patronize the top-rated ECAs in your country as listed on our ECA tab at TripleClicks or on the ECA tab at the Affiliate Center.

Q: Can I redeem a gift certificate on a digital SFI product such as PSAs To Go or a Prestige Custom Domain?

Q: Could I use a gift certificate on a non-auction physical TC Direct product that can be shipped to my country?
Yes, however, you would be required to pay the shipping cost in such an instance.

Q: I’m an ECA that would like to have gift certificate winners directed to my ECA store.  How do I get listed for this?
You may submit a ticket at support.sfimg.com with your proposal.  If we like what we see from you, we will contact you when we are ready to incorporate this component of the program.  You can “apply” now or whenever you’re ready.

Q: What about silver and gold auctions?  Even though I’m in a country that you’ve been able to ship these items to previously, am I now out of luck?
No, you are not.  We will continue to ship silver and gold to you should you win one of these auctions (pending any future changes in shipping laws of course). This is the only exception to the new “Physical items are available for shipment to US/CANADA members only” rule.

Introducing…the CSA Exchange!

Did you know that matching up co-sponsors and CSAs by country has been shown to increase activity in CSAs due to better communications and compatibility in regards to language, culture, etc.?

It’s true!  And with our new CSA Exchange, you can now actively harness the power of this in your team.  Yes, you can now exchange all your CSAs from other countries…for CSAs from your own country!


Using the CSA Exchange is simple.  Here are the steps:

Step 1: Go to http://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/CSAExchange

Step 2: Choose the ELIGIBLE CSAs view.

Step 3: Select all the CSAs you wish to exchange.  You’ll, of course, want to keep your active CSAs.  So only select the CSAs that you’re okay with exchanging for different CSAs.

Step 4: Save your selections by clicking the “Add selected CSAs to Exchange pool” button.

That’s it!  Exchanges will begin automatically–usually within 24 hours, depending on what CSAs are available currently.

Special Note: As you acquire additional CSAs, be sure to visit the CSA Exchange every so often to add them to the CSAs you want to exchange.


Q: Why should I exchange my CSAs?
People of course like working with those that understand their culture and speak their native language.  By exchanging your CSAs that live in other countries for CSAs that live in YOUR country, you can put this dynamic to work for you.  It’s a win/win!  Your CSAs will have a co-sponsor that they can work better with…and you’ll create more active CSAs that can grow your commissions!

Q: Which CSAs are automatically excluded from my list of CSAs eligible for exchange?
Our system automatically excludes CSAs if they:

  • Are from your own country
  • Have a current Standing Order
  • Are red-flagged in your Genealogy
  • Have a confirmed bad e-mail address
  • Were EA this month or last month

Q: Will exchanging mean I’ll get active CSAs?
There’s no guarantee that exchanging CSAs will change anything, but we’ve seen good evidence of CSAs becoming active after being reassigned to a co-sponsor from the same country.  But the bottom line is there’s nothing to lose.  If you’re exchanging your CSAs that are inactive currently, you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain by bringing in new CSAs from your country and seeing how they might respond to a new, same-country co-sponsor.

Q: Does this new program have any impact on my PSAs?
Yes!  In fact, it could have a VERY positive impact on getting your PSAs more active, and reawakening PSAs that have been long inactive.  This is of course because all of your PSAs are also someone else’s CSAs.  As they get assigned to new same-country co-sponsors–persons that can personally guide them in their native language and who are aligned culturally–activity could increase substantially!  Yes, a significant boost to overall activity for your entire organization–for every generation under you–could be brewing!

Q: How long will it take for my CSAs to be exchanged?
This will depend entirely on how many CSAs you have to exchange and how many CSAs from your country that are available. Exchanges can potentially start within minutes of choosing your eligible CSAs, but it could take several hours, days, or even weeks to fully exchange all.

Q: Will I be able to see how many of my CSAs have been exchanged?
Yes, these statistics will be provided at the CSA Exchange web page, so you can always see the results of your exchanges, how many are pending, etc.

Q: When I receive CSAs from my country, am I allowed to call them and/or meet with them?
Yes, feel free to work directly with all your CSAs.  This is one of the best ways to get your CSAs actively engaged and grow your business.

Q: Will exchanged CSAs know they’ve been assigned a new co-sponsor?
Yes, immediately upon reassignment, we send each person an email letting them know they have a new co-sponsor from their own country.  This notice included the full name and email address of the new co-sponsor and invites them to make contact.

Q: How can I identify the new CSAs I’ve received through the CSA Exchange…so I can introduce myself?
The easiest method is through your Genealogy report.  Use the “CSA Assign Date” for your first filter, then “CSA Source = CSA Exchange” for your second filter to pull up your new exchanged CSAs by date.  You can then use the Genealogy’s group messaging tool to send them your message.

Q: What should I say in my introduction message?
It’s up to you, but here’s a suggestion:

Subject: I’m your new co-sponsor in SFI!


I’ve just received the great news that I’ve been assigned as your new co-sponsor in SFI!

Like yourself, I live in <country> and I would love to work with you to help you build a successful business.  SFI is a powerful and proven business platform, and I would be honored, as your new co-sponsor in <country>, to help you in any way I can.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Q: Won’t exchanges be slow at first?
It could be, yes.  Until significant numbers of affiliates join the exchange (with lots of CSAs), there won’t be a large enough pool of CSAs for exchanges to happen rapidly.  However, we expect the program to be well received and thousands of exchanges to be happening daily within a few weeks.

Q: Won’t my CSAs be hurt that I’ve given them up to another co-sponsor?
It’s possible, yes.  That said, the exchange has been created to provide a mutually-beneficial situation.  You may not be able to significantly help many of your CSAs that live in far-away parts of the word due to language and cultural differences.  But by them getting reassigned to a same-country co-sponsor, you may be giving them a huge gift–a gift that may allow them to really take off and find success and financial freedom in SFI.

Q: Should I stay in contact with the CSAs that I’ve allowed to be reassigned to new co-sponsors?
No.  Once they’ve been exchanged, contact should cease.  If they contact you, you should advise them to contact their new co-sponsor.  Note that if you’ve got CSAs that you’ve become friends with and don’t want to lose contact with, just don’t exchange them.

Q: Does the CSA Exchange take into account how long the CSAs have been in SFI?
No, it’s only looking at their country of residence and matching by country.

New Genealogy feature: Send E-Cards directly to your affiliates

You can now send E-Cards directly from your Genealogy! Just click the Communications tab from your Genealogy report. In the Send E-Card column, select the type of E-Card you want to send from the dropdown menu for the affiliate of your choice, and click the Send button.


After choosing your E-Card design, you’ll then be directed to the E-Card preview screen, where you can enter your greeting and personal message. Just select Send Message button when you’re ready to send your E-Card!

Remember: E-Cards provide an unlimited number of ways to welcome, inform, congratulate, and recognize your team.  E-Cards are free to use, but there is a sending limit of 200 per day, and you may not send any one affiliate more than one card a day. Get more information about using E-Cards HERE.

Powerful new tool…Cash Welcomes!

On June 1st we introduced TCredits Welcomes (TW)–a tool for sponsors to help get new affiliates more quickly engaged and active.  Today we are introducing the CASH WELCOME (CW), a program with the same objectives but that uses cash (i.e. real money!) as the reward/incentive.

Effective immediately, you now have the option to offer all new registrants a US Dollar (at a cost to you of just two TCredits per offer!).

It works like this: Once you’ve signed up to participate in the CW program, your new PSAs will see a screen like this (featuring your photo) immediately upon submitting their registration to join SFI.



Getting set up to participate is quick and easy. Just go to the Welcome Offers Manager HERE and click the Cash Welcomes tab:

If you have TCredits on account, it will show how many you have (a link is also provided if you need to buy some TCredits). Next, you just need to:

  1. Click the on/off switch to turn it ON.
  2. Choose if you wish to make an offer to ALL, 50%, or 25% of your registrants.
  3. Choose the maximum number of CW offers you’re willing to make each day (your daily maximum limit).
  4. Choose whether to pause participation if your daily maximum limit is reached.
  5. Click the “Save” button.


That’s it! The very next person you sign up will be offered a “starter dollar!”

And it’s just as easy to turn off whenever you want. Just return to the Welcome Offers Manager and turn the on/off switch to OFF.

TIP: Perhaps you want to be around so that you can immediately get in touch (e.g. SFI Instant Messaging) with those accepting your offer to maximize impact. Hence, you could turn participation ON when you’re at your computer, and off when you’re not.

You’ll also notice the STATISTICS section. In this area, we will provide real-time statistics so you can see how your campaign is doing in real time.

This is a good time to think about ROI (Return On Investment). Though you’ll know immediately when new affiliates have accepted your cash offer, you may not know for at least a few days, and possibly weeks, if your investment is paying off with more active affiliates.

For example, are those receiving this offer going further in the E365 contest? Going Fast-Track? Are they becoming EAs, EA2s, or Team Leaders more frequently? Are they setting up Standing Orders? These and other metrics will be very important in determining your ROI.

The simple stats on the Welcome Offers Manager page will help you get a quick, general idea, but you’ll be pleased to know we’ve also added a new filter to the Genealogy. By selecting the new “Rec’d Cash Welcome” filter, you can really “crunch the numbers” and compare all kinds of aspects vs. those who do not receive the offer. This new filter is also great if you wish to send a mailing to this group.


Q: Since I can purchase and/or win two TCredits for much less than a dollar, how can a dollar be offered to my new sign-ups?
SFI is making up the difference.  Remember, we’re partners.  If you’re in, we’re in!

Q: Many people from around the world may not know the value of a US Dollar or would respond better to an offer in their own currency.  Is this a possibility?
Yes!  We just need to establish that the program is viable and working first.  We’ve built the program so other currencies can easily be plugged in automatically based on the country of residence registered.  So, depending on their country, one person may be offered a US Dollar, the next person a Euro, the next person offered Rupees, and so on.

Q: How does providing a “starter dollar” help get new affiliates engaged?
Getting people STARTED is absolutely critical. People that get started and get engaged with the system are about 20 times more likely to stay engaged and become active SFI affiliates.  Real cash is a great inducement to jump in!

Q: Do I get my TCredits returned to my account if the recipient does not ultimately receive the dollar because they never got a standard commissions payment?
Because it could be many months or even more before commissions are qualified for, no.  In participating the program, you’ll need to consider each pair of TCredits used as part of your cost of advertising.  And keep in mind that if they’ve earned commissions, you’ve likely earned Direct Commissions of more than the cost of your two TCredits investment.

Q: Does SFI remind recipients of the CW offer?
Yes, immediately upon accepting the offer, they’ll receive an special email from us reminding them of your gift and that it will be automatically paid to them with their first standard commissions payment.  Additionally, at the Affiliate Center, on their Alerts page, they’ll see a special alert about it.

Q: Why is offering cash better than offering TCredits (the TW offer)?
We don’t know that it is yet, but we DO know that it’s much more direct.  Everyone understands what money is and what you can do with it.  You can’t say the same about TCredits.  Understanding the value of TCredits requires at least a bit of education–which likely makes it at least somewhat less effective.  And, of course, everyone joining SFI is joining essentially for one main reason–to make money.  Giving them the gift of their first dollar (to be the first of many to come hopefully)–we think might make a great impression!  Indeed, it may be a game-changer!

Q: How will I know that a new PSA has accepted the CW offer?
For starters, we’ve added a line to the PSA Notification email you receive from us each time you have a new sign-up. We’ve also added a “CW” to the subject line for this email so you can know without even opening the email. We’ve also added a new “Rec’d Cash Welcome” filter on the Genealogy. Use this filter to pull up all PSAs who have accepted your offer for special group mailings and/or to compare the activity of those who have and have not received a CW from you.

Q: What if I change my mind and don’t want to participate in the CW program any longer?
You can turn it off any time you want by simply updating your preferences in the Welcome Offers Manager.

Q: Why do I have the option of making the offer to all or just some of my new sign-ups?
This is so you may do what is known as “A/B Split Testing.”  That is, by choosing to award cash to some but not all, you can compare results, in the same time period, and determine if participating in the CW program works and makes sense for you.

Q: How can I justify this extra cost of spending these TCredits?
You have to look at the big picture here.  You’ve already invested in the advertising to get them signed up.  Will you make more in the long run by investing a little more now–while you have their attention?  Or will you make more hoping they’ll get active with SFI without you “sweetening the deal.”  We don’t know that today, but that’s why we’ve made the various tracking tools available to help you answer this question.  Tip: You may be able to significantly decrease your cost for the TCredits by winning them at Pricebenders.

Q: In the Welcome Offers Manager, I have the option of setting a maximum limit of CW offers for each day. What is the purpose of this?
This is simply a protection feature for you. TCredits are valuable of course. We would not want to you to wake up one morning and find out that more TCredits than you wanted to spend had been spent.

Q: In the Welcome Offers Manager, I have the option of having the system automatically pause my participation in the CW program if my daily maximum limit is reached. What is the purpose of this?
This is for your protection. Even a nominal daily limit, if reached day after day after day, will add up. We want you to be aware so you do not receive an unpleasant surprise. Note that if you DO reach your daily limit and have your preferences set to pause participation, we will send you an email to alert you so that you can turn participation back on when you’re ready.

Q: I notice that the offer screen will feature my picture. Is a good picture important?
Absolutely. If you don’t have a good picture for your SFI account, replace it with one HERE! Your face should dominate the photo and you should be smiling and look professional. The photo should also have good lighting and not be blurry. Details count; a poor image could cost you a LOT of money! You’ll increase your chances of engaging your new affiliates if your photo comes across as someone they would want to work with, so don’t overlook this small but very important element!

Q: Can I participate in BOTH the TCredits Welcome and the Cash Welcome?
Yes, but not at the same time.  Turn one on and the other off whenever you want to switch between the two programs.

Q: What’s to stop people from signing up multiple times just to get free dollar?
We automatically block any attempts at signing up with the same email address more than once. We also use other tools to monitor duplicate sign-ups.  But the main reason this should not be a concern is that recipients cannot receive the dollars unless they actually become active and earn other commissions.

Q: What if someone who did not receive the CW offer learns that I gave it to others but not him?
If this were to occur, and you wanted to give the person something, you always have the option of using the standard TCredits Transfer feature located in your Genealogy to transfer up to ten TCredits.  Or, you could give them a TripleClicks gift certificate.

Q: Can I get my TCredits back if I decide that I didn’t want a recipient to have received the cash offer?
Sorry, no.

Q: I’m not convinced that this new CW program will work for me.  Can I wait and see how it’s working for others before I start my participation?
Of course, yes.  We’ll be tracking results companywide and we’ll let everyone know how the program is working, so you can decide based on actual data.  And if you don’t ever want to participate, that’s fine, too; it’s a 100% optional program.
