Introducing...SFI RULES OF SUCCESS

Over the last 60 years, literally millions of people have participated in our type of business (network marketing). And through many years of trial and error, and hundreds of millions of dollars spent on figuring out what works and what doesn't, we have a very clear picture of what leads to success.

Likewise, we have established our own set of rules for success based on our 11+ year history and the investment of literally millions of dollars and hours by SFI and its affiliates. We have distilled for you all of this into our new "SFI Rules of Success."

Why do we need this? Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "As to methods there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The person who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The person who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble."

This is sage advice indeed. In our case, hundreds of methods and strategies for building your SFI business have been provided, but if you do not know the principles (i.e. rules) behind them, a very, very large hole exists in your approach!

SFI Rules of Success is designed to fill this gap and illustrate for you the ABSOLUTE MOST VITAL tenets of our business. Rules that when followed bring success. Rules that when ignored or violated bring failure!

Over the coming weeks, because it is such an important new piece, we'll be talking a lot about the SFI Rules of Success, and you will see a lot of new links and references to it added to the SFI system.

In the meantime, start learning the rules and start telling your team members about them. And, most importantly, start actively APPLYING these rules to your business and life.

SFI Rules of Success starts with SFI President Gery Carson's introduction at:

https://www.sfimg.com/ROS/Intro-by-Gery-Carson.sfi

Tip for Team Leaders (and future Team Leaders): You can write a newsletter (to send to your team) and/or a training article for your team Website about each rule. Create up to 20 separate articles. Reference the individual rule title and URL...and then "frame" it with your own comments and insights.

Watch those red flags!

Make sure you're watching your genealogy carefully for red "<500" flags. This flag indicates your affiliate has generated less than 500 VersaPoints in the last 90 days and, hence, is in jeopardy of having their SFI affiliateship cancelled at the end of the month.

Please note that starting on the 15th of each month, SFI sends all such flagged affiliates a series of emails to let them know that they are under 500 points and need to take action quickly. However, our emails may not get through, so we encourage you to be pro-active and contact your flagged affiliates yourself too.

What should you say? Here's a sample letter:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Tom,

My genealogy is indicating that you have less than 500 VersaPoints in the last 90 days. This is less than SFI's Minimum Activity Requirement, so your SFI affiliateship could be cancelled at the end of this month.

You are an important member of my team and I'd really hate to lose you! So how can I help? Are there questions I can answer for you? Is there anything I can assist you with?

I'm extremely excited about what SFI is doing. With their new E-Commerce Associates program, for example, the SFI opportunity has just taken a huge leap forward. I'm going to be very active with SFI personally and I would really like to be able to work with you as a key member of my team.

Please drop me a quick email and let me know what I can do to help you get the points you need before the end of the month.

Thank you! I look forward to hearing from you.

1. Go to your Genealogy.

2. Click the SFI ID number of anyone who is displaying the red "<500" flag.

3. On the Affiliate Manager page you will see a "1-Month Extension" link in the top, right corner. Click this link to extend their affiliateship for another month.

"Success Builder" Co-op Launched!

We are thrilled to unveil today, S-Builder, our new, international, multi-channel advertising co-op available to all SFI affiliates. Picking up where SFI's EyeEarn Co-op leaves off, S-Builder gives you the ability to accelerate your path to success by purchasing shares in S-Builder.

Just as a small fire produces little heat, small actions produce small results. With S-Builder, you can turn up the heat as hot as you want to propel your business forward.

You'll be part of a worldwide advertising campaign utilizing:

• Magazines & newspapers
• Mobile devices (smartphones, iPads, etc.)
• On the Web (banner ads, blogs, pay-per-click, etc.)
• On the racetrack (as sponsors of NASCAR #75 Herd Racing)
• And more (other media such as TV and radio are also being considered)

No longer is a lack of time or marketing experience a roadblock to success with SFI. With S-Builder, you can simply plug in to our global advertising co-op and within a few weeks begin receiving signups (both SFI affiliates and TC members).

Just 72 cents a day gets you on your way. Units (shares) of S-Builder cost as little as $22 (and come with 280 VersaPoints per unit). That means that for just 72 cents a day, you can be building a residual income stream for you and your family. Indeed, S-Builder is one of most economical ways to build an online business ever!

For complete details, extensive FAQs, and an order link for S-Builder, go now to our new S-Builder "central info page" HERE.

Special Note: It's said that to make a great omelette, you have to break a few eggs. This was true with S-Builder. That is, to make everything simple and seamless for everyone, extra shares of the EyeEarn Co-op had to be eliminated. Effective June 1st, being an EyeEarner will qualify you for ONE share and one share only. Extra shares will no longer be available. Please note that for 90% of EyeEarners this will NOT decrease the number of signups you receive from EyeEarn. For everyone else, we regret having to make this change, but it is necessary for S-Builder to be successful–which we firmly believe will benefit you in a much bigger way than extra shares of EyeEarn would. We thank you for your understanding.

New default tab added to SFI homepage

The SFI homepage is now sporting a new tab called "SFI Basics." This tab is now the default tab when you land on the homepage. All other tabs, such as the SFI To-Do List, My Movers, etc. are all still available of course, and are instantly accessible with a single click.

We've made this change to make SFI simpler for new affiliates. As the new tab explains, there are just three basic parts to SFI, but many new affiliates often get lost or are overwhelmed by the information on the SFI To-Do List (the information previously defaulted to). So we want to set the To-Do List back a little bit and make sure that new affiliates understand the three basics first.

Sponsors can now grant affiliateship extensions

For the first five days of every month, you can now extend the affiliateship of any PSAs (personally sponsored affiliates) in your group who have fallen below the 500 VP in 60 days minimum.

In other words, we are now giving you, the sponsor, the final say. If you believe someone has shown a reason to retain their affiliateship, you can now grant this. Here's how:

1. Go to your Genealogy.
2. Click the SFI ID number of anyone who is displaying the red "<500" flag
3. On the Affiliate Manager page you will see a "1-Month Extension" link in the top, right corner. Click this link to extend their affiliateship for another month.

That's it. They will not be purged this month and they will have the rest of the month to get above the minimum activity requirement again.

Can you do this more than one month? Yes, currently there's no limit. However, we do not recommend indefinite extensions. If you feel extensions are merited, of course feel free to grant extensions, but if not, it's best to allow them to be purged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because we are just getting this in place today (on the 5th), we are going to give everyone–this one month only–two extra days. That is, you have until the end of Wednesday, April 7th, to grant your extensions for this month.

Purge completed!

As of noon today, our big purge of inactive affiliates has been completed. All of your inactive PSAs (personally sponsored SFI Affiliates) are now PRMs (personally referred TripleClicks Members).

Your genealogy should now be uncluttered of "deadwood" and much faster. You may have also picked up one or more PSAs who rolled up from inactive sponsors to you. Similarly, you may have a new sponsor yourself if your previous sponsor was not active.

You should also notice a speed difference in maneuvering and doing various activities around the Affiliate Center.

Also, a reminder, we will be purging inactive affiliates every month from now on, on or about the 5th of each month, so make sure you are monitoring your genealogy. When you see someone with a red flag indicating they have become inactive, you need to jump into action! Contact them individually. Offer your assistance to help them get active again. That said, always remember that you can't "drag people across the finish line." THEY have to want it. If they don't want to help themselves, MOVE ON. And always remember to replace those in your organization who become inactive. Bringing new blood into your group is something you must always be doing to build a profitable SFI business.

ONE MORE THING: If you have any former affiliates from your group (those purged today or otherwise) who wish to get back in SFI and become active again, all you have to do is send them to:

http://www.sfimg.com/convert

Logging in at this special page will instantly reinstate them as an SFI affiliate with their previous sponsor. Also note that this new "/convert" page is also the mechanism for converting TC Members into SFI Affiliates. That is, if you've referred a TC Member who would like to be an SFI Affiliate, all you need to do is tell them to go to to http://www.sfimg.com/convert and log in and they will immediately become an SFI affiliate--personally sponsored by you.

Update on the purge

We have scheduled our purge of inactive affiliates for this Friday, February 5th. This is to allow for such things as orders coming in by postal mail to reach us. Hence, we will be actually looking back a total of 65 days for the minimum 500 points requirement. i.e. If you have 500 points anytime in the 65 days between December 2, 2009 and February 5th, 2010, you're all set.

Note that this also means that we'll be counting any points generated up until the purge is started this Friday. So you still have time to get points yourself and get inactive affiliates in your group active as well.

1000 Fans. We did it!

1000 Fans in less than a week! On January 11th we announced our official Fan Page for SFI affiliates at Facebook, and our goal of 1000 fans by the end of January.

Today, less than seven days later (and WAY before the end of the month), we've already surpassed our goal! W00t!

A BIG THANKS to everyone who went in and became fans of SFI and helped us make our goal! Now, in the spirit of "aiming high and dreaming big," we've set a new, bigger goal:

100,000 fans. Let's do it!!
