Language Translation extensions offer a superior alternative to the translation service we were using previously because the functionality is built right in to your browser with dozens of languages supported.

TripleClicks customers can now view their store pages in the language of their choice. Just scroll down to the Languages drop down menu below the department listings on the left side of the homepage, and select a language. As you progress through the store, the pages should automatically translate into your chosen language (may take a few seconds to complete when you go to a new page).

Just select the language you wish to read these blogs in from the drop-down Google Translate box located in the sidebar.

We are now testing Google's language translation service at TripleClicks. Through this service, Google provides 41 different languages.

Access is provided via a small drop-down menu which we've located in the sidebar on both the homepage and on search results pages.

Google Translate recently added Turkish, Thai, Hungarian, Estonian, Albanian, Maltese, and Galician to the mix. The rollout of these seven additional languages marks a new milestone: automatic translations between 41 languages (1,640 language pairs!). This means we can now translate between languages read by 98% of Internet users.

In just a few years, the machine translation group within Google Research has taken its initial research system from two languages to 41 languages and is now handling millions of translation requests a day. For several languages, Google Translate is the first freely available machine translation system for these languages. Of course, there's always room for improvement, and we're working hard to improve translation quality. Our statistical models are built from vast quantities of monolingual and translated texts using automated machine learning techniques.
