As of January 2010, we are now requiring a minimum activity requirement to remain in SFI. Minimum activity will be defined as at least 500 VersaPoints accumulated by the end of each month.
1/8/10 UPDATE: We have decided to extend the window to 60 days. This means that on the first of every month, provided you had at least 500 points during the previous 60 days, your affiliateship will not be cancelled.
These points can come from any combination of actions. See your SFI To-Do List on the homepage for a listing of all pointable actions available to you.
Any affiliate who fails to meet the 500 VP requirement will forfeit their SFI affiliateship, all SFI benefits and downline. However, their TripleClicks Membership will continue. That is, they will still be TC Members, but they will no longer be recognized as SFI Affiliates.

Q: Why do we need to purge inactive people?
A: There is substantial overhead in maintaining "dead wood." Pruning the dead wood will make the SFI Affiliate Center faster and much more efficient for those who ARE active. Your genealogy will display ONLY active people from now on. Moreover, SFI is a business, and business is about DOING and BUILDING. If an affiliate is doing nothing, it is pointless for them to be in the system as an affiliate.
Q: I'm the sponsor of a number of inactive affiliates and I want to help as many as possible get qualified before they get removed. How will I know which ones are pending removal from the system?
A: The easiest way is to use your genealogy. Any affiliate who is facing cancellation at the end of the current month now appears with a red flag before their name. You can individually contact those flagged.
Q: So any affiliate I've sponsored who is purged will still be a TripleClicks member?
A: Yes, instead of a PSA (personally sponsored affiliate), they will become one of your PRMs (personally referred TripleClicks member) and you will earn up to 72% CV Customer Commissions on all of their purchases at TripleClicks (plus the VersaPoints, too).
Q: Will these new PRMs show up on my Customer Report?
A: Yes.
Q: If someone is purged, can they rejoin SFI later?
A: Yes, you are welcome to have them sign up again at a special webpage we will be making available soon. They will retain the same ID number, you as their sponsor, etc. For this purpose, you MAY want to maintain a mailing list so you have their email addresses, etc. You can download this list, by the way, using the link found at the bottom of your genealogy.
Q: Can someone who is purged sign up under a different sponsor?
A: Eventually, yes. They will have to sit out for a minimum of six months however.
Q: Isn't 500 points a lot to require?
A: On the contrary. If you're serious about SFI, we feel it's a very nominal requirement. You can earn up to 124 of these points a month just by visiting the Affiliate Center every day and 120 more a month by staying in touch with your downline every week. With a minimum amount of additional sponsoring and referring, the rest of the points can readily be accumulated. And if that's not enough, there will soon be tens of thousands of products at TripleClicks--products you are ALREADY BUYING elsewhere. Simply transfer those purchases to TripleClicks and you can easily attain the points you need for the 500 minimum or, better yet, 1500 for EA (Executive Affiliate) status.
Q: How will you be alerting affiliates who have less than 500 points during the past 60 days and are in jeopardy of losing their SFI affiliateship?
A: They will see a special alert about this now when they log in at the SFI Affiliate Center. Secondly, starting on the 15th of the month, they will receive a series of e-mail alerts until the end of the month.
Q: What about EyeEarners? Will they also need to have a minimum 500 points?
A: EyeEarners are exempted from the minimum 500 point rule.
