For those who were SFI affiliates in 2009 when TripleClicks was launched, you've seen a steady progression of new features, the continual additions of thousands of new products, and much more.

Today, however, is the start of one of the biggest additions yet. That is, we're now taking TripleClicks LOCAL...right to your own neighborhood!

What do we mean by that? For starters, it means that you can now search and locate member listings and ECAs in your area. Here's how:

1. Log in at TripleClicks.com.

2. Click on a department from the list of departments located on the left side of the homepage.

3. You'll notice there is an addition to the top of the right sidebar which now allows you to filter for locally available products. Click the box for local pickups and enter a radius of 10, 25, 50, 100, or 500 miles, then click the "Submit" button.

4. Results returned will be all member listings that have chosen to offer the local pickup option. Also returned will be all ECA listings where the ECA offers "will-call" pickup.

Now, before you jump in and get disappointed by the minimal number of hits you get, realize that we've JUST added the local pickup option for member listings. Hence, at this moment, there are but a very, very scant few listings offering local pickup.

Similarly, not all ECAs have set up their listings to offer the will-call pickup option (though they should of course to maximize their sales).

So, it will take a little time to change this. But here's how all of our affiliates can help us change this very quickly:

A. List something! If you've got even a single TCredit on account, you've got what you need to post something for sale right now. And because you can now choose local pickups ONLY (i.e. you don't have to set up ANY shipping), you can now simply and easily list and sell hard-to-ship items like bikes, farm equipment, motorcycles, cars, etc.

By the way, here's how local pickups with member listings work: Prospective buyers in your area will see your listings. If they're interested in your listing, they'll contact you using a quick little built-in contact form located on the details page of your listing. When you receive the message (includes the person's name, email, phone number, best time to call, etc), you can now respond to the person by emailing or calling him/her to answer their questions and/or to set up a showing/meeting. Should the person choose to buy your item, they'll pay you directly and you keep 100% of the sale price. That's it!

Special Note: Other than your city, no other contact or address information of yours is revealed to the prospective buyer. It is completely up to you to provide this information, if you choose to, when responding to the prospective buyer.

B. If you already have some member listings, edit them to include the local pickup option. To do so, simply go to http://www.tripleclicks.com/myaccount/editListing.php and check the "Item is available for local pickup" box. It's that simple!

C. Let our ECAs know--especially those in your country--that you'd like for them to offer will-call, local pickup service. They can adjust their listings at any time for this. To contact an ECA, use the contact information on their TConnect page. And/or post a message on their TConnect page.

If everyone works on A, B, and C, TripleClicks "LOCALife" will be teeming with listings in no time!

Now, searching for local listings is nice, but it's far from ideal. We think being PRO-ACTIVE is much better! That's why we'll soon be adding a new panel to the TripleClicks homepage that will feature links to local member listings, local ECAs...and a little later...local artists, local service providers, local restaurants, and more. This panel will also appear on the TripleClicks tab on your homepage at the SFI Affiliate Center so you'll see it each day.

In other words, soon, all you'll have to do is log in at TripleClicks (or the Affiliate Center) and you'll be automatically presented with new local offers and more.

Over time, we think this is going to be a game-changer for TripleClicks...and SFI affiliates too. Indeed, imagine earning VP each time you dine at your favorite local restaurants. Imagine earning VP AND commissions every time your personally referred friends, co-workers, and family members dine out too. And if you also referred the restaurant to TripleClicks, you can also earn ECA Royalties any time ANY local TC member (not just your personally referred members) dines there.
