2010 was a fantastic year for SFI and our affiliates! We welcomed nearly 300,000 new affiliates and TripleClicks members from all around the world, exponentially expanded our product offerings, and added several new commissionable opportunities and program enhancements.

We're in the process right now of transitioning our EyeEarn (EE) program to an exciting new replacement program we've named WAVE3 (W3).

With so many great additions (and the above are just a FEW), it's not surprising SFI enjoyed a great year in 2010...and 2011 will, no doubt, be even bigger. In fact, many of 2010's accomplishments are simply the foundations for even more powerful improvements in 2011 . Yes, we are continually building, building, building. One piece at a time. Building the most powerful program of its kind in the world!

So what might be coming in 2011? Here are just a FEW of the items planned:

- Several powerful new features at the SFI Affiliate Center

And we've got some MAJOR new additions to the family coming too. We can't share any details today, but they could be as big as anything we've ever done...so stay tuned...and GET READY for the opportunities that are on the way.

1. To get in on the December S-Builder Co-op. Just plug in to our global advertising co-op and within a few weeks begin receiving signups (both SFI affiliates and TC members). We've completely overhauled the log-in screen. It now tells more about the SFI opportunity and also features a cleaner look.

After logging in, you'll automatically land on our new and improved Alerts Page. We've added some new features that we think you're going to like. In addition to general alerts and reminders, the latest SFI News, and the latest SFI Power Tips, we've added:

A. VersaPoints section keeps you up to date on how many VP you have for the month and the amount needed to move up to the next commission level. It also lets you know where you currently rank in regards to the VP Top 300.

B. Pricebenders Auctions section provides the scheduled starting times for the next Feature Auction and SFI Auction.

C. TeamTalk. Located in the right sidebar of the page, similar to Twitter, SFI's new TeamTalk allows you to instantly send brief messages to your PSAs, CSAs, and/or your entire downline. Conversely, you'll be receiving messages here from your sponsor, upline Team Leaders, and SFI Corporate.

How might you use TeamTalk with your team? The possibilities are endless, but here are a few ideas (Note: we recommend you post a TeamTalk message at least once a week and more is better):

- Words of encouragement
- Reminders of deadlines, contests, etc.
- Announcements of your team promotions
- Updates
- Weekly or daily recaps
- Tips and ideas
- Motivating quotes
- Weekly and/or monthly goals
- Recognition of firsts in your team
- Recognition of your team's top achievers

Tip: To reply to a TeamTalk message you've received, click on the sender's name, then use either the email link or the TeamMail icon located in the sender's Affiliate Snapshot.

Note that TeamTalk is for your SFI business only. Using TeamTalk to spam will result in suspension of your account.

3. SFI SCOREBOARD http://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/Scoreboard.sfi

This is a brand new page that consolidates several components that were previously located on 2-3 others pages, and adds several new additions too. Think of the SFI Scoreboard as your one-stop spot for tracking your own progress and other important SFI statistics as a whole.

At the top of the page is the information specific to your own business and where you compare with other SFI Affiliates. The left column lists your VP information. The column to the right lists your Power Rank status (how you rank among all SFI Affiliates, those in your country, and those who joined SFI on the same day you did). The bottom part of these columns lists the top 50 VP Affiliates and top 50 Power Rank affiliates, respectively. And below them is the SFI panel which includes yesterday's top 10 enrollers, recent enrollment totals, and more.

Tip: To learn more about any affiliate listed, just click his or her name. Note that small checkmarks appearing beside affiliate names mean they have included one of their best business tips for you.

At the far right of your SFI Scoreboard, you'll see the SFI badges you've earned so far (e.g. Executive Affiliate, Team Leader, S-Builder, Fast-Track, Wave3, TC Booster Club).

Below your badges, you'll see information boxes listing statistics for TripleClicks members, product, and ECA totals and more. Below those boxes, and in the same right column, you can view the names, locations, and join dates for our newest SFI EA, Team Leaders, and TC Booster Club, Fast-Track, and Wave3 members. Finally, at the very bottom of this column, you'll see the number of our Facebook and Twitter followers.

P.S. So as to avoid confusion, we have changed the name of the former VP Scoreboard to "VP Ledger." From now, when we're talking about "the scoreboard," we're talking about the new universal scoreboard at: http://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/Scoreboard.sfi

4. HOMEPAGE http://www.sfimg.com/Home.sfi

Just some minor changes here. VP and Power Rank information has been moved to the new SFI Scoreboard, which means the primary, tabbed homepage panel locates right at the top of the page.

We've also programmed the homepage to default to different tabs depending on how long you've been in SFI.

- For your first 5 days in SFI, it will default to the SFI BASICS tab.
- For your first 6-30 days in SFI, it will default to the SFI TO-DO LIST tab.
- After 30 days, it will display one of the five tabs at random each time you hit the homepage (so as to make sure you are reviewing and utilizing the valuable information in all five).

Note that you can of course select any tab at any time; we've simply put this special programming in place to help assure that all affiliates see what we feel is the most important homepage information for them based on when they joined SFI.

One more important note: Effective immediately, you now earn 2 VP daily for visiting your Alerts Page, 1 VP daily for visiting your Homepage, and 1 VP daily for visiting the new Scoreboard.

The SFI corporate office will be closed this Friday, Dec. 24th, in observance of the Christmas weekend. We will resume normal business and customer service hours Monday, Dec 27th.

We're running a little behind on the new W3 kits. And with the Christmas vacations approaching, it looks like we will not be able to start shipping the kits until the end of the month. We apologize for any inconvenience. However, it may be for the best, as the marketplace historically does not "wake back up" until at least a few days into the new year. So perfect timing to introduce W3 in a fresh, new year!

Make sure you're watching your Genealogy carefully for red "<500" flags. This flag indicates your affiliate has generated less than 500 VersaPoints in the last 90 days and, hence, is in jeopardy of having their SFI affiliateship canceled at the end of the month.

Please note that starting on the 15th of each month, SFI sends all such flagged affiliates a series of e-mails to let them know that they are under 500 points and need to take action quickly. However, our e-mails may not get through, so we encourage you to be pro-active and contact your flagged affiliates yourself too.

What should you say? Here's a sample letter:

Our new Pricebenders penny auctions at TripleClicks have been a huge hit. But we've observed a lot of bidders engaging in counter-productive actions that are actually costing them auction wins! Fortunately, many of these actions boil down to common--and avoidable--mistakes. 

One of the biggest mistakes we're observing is people waiting too long to bid. Connectivity issues, computer crashes, latency (network delays), and other factors may interfere with your bid. If you wait till the last few seconds to bid, you're running the risk that your bid won't go through in time. And make sure you understand that when you bid, it just resets the auction clock, so being the last one to bid before the clock hits zero may just keep you from winning if your bid is delayed by one of the afore-mentioned technical issues.  If your strategy is to wait until the "last possible moment," we recommend bidding with NO LESS THAN 5 seconds remaining.
