You probably already know that the SFI Forum is a great place to get answers for your questions from SFI affiliates worldwide (and if you DIDN'T know that, you owe it to yourself and your team to check out this valuable free resource now!).

Located in the Getting Started section of the Training index at the Affiliate Center, this tutorial outlines a simple, easy orientation of the forum, from basic setup to posting questions to creating polls.

SFI's new gift certificate program is now available.

To fund your account (which is now consolidated with your TripleClicks account), go to TripleClicks.com, log in, and do a search on "Gift Certificate."

You'll be presented with options for adding the following amounts to your account:

$25
$50
$75
$200
$500
or
$1000

Funding your account can now be done with credit card, debit card, PayPal, PayByCash, check, money order, or cash (any of the normal TripleClicks payment options). You can also use money you've earned from selling products on TripleClicks and/or from SFI commissions you have on account!

Next, to issue a gift certificate, just go to your genealogy report at the SFI Affiliate Center, choose the Gift Certificate format, and then click the "Buy Certificate" link beside the affiliate you wish to give a Gift Certificate to.

In the pop-up that now appears, you'll be able to choose the amount of the gift certificate, as well as the expiration date. You'll also note that we've added:

A. The affiliate's photo (if provided)
B. VersaPoints this month (and the points needed to reach the next level)
C. Last login date
D. The date he/she joined SFI
E. Contact information

This new information we've added can help you decide how much to make your gift certificate for, among other things.

You'll also be pleased to know that the Gift Certificate Manager now displays all of your outstanding gift certificates, who they've been issued to, amounts, etc.

IMPORTANT: One significant change you need to be keenly aware of is that there are now no longer any restrictions on what can be purchased with a gift certificate. If you issue someone a gift certificate for $10, for example, they could use it on an order for just $10. Please factor this in when issuing your gift certificates! We made this change because, with the new VersaPoints system, you can have affiliates who are short almost any number of points. This new, open system will, hence, allow you to assist ANY affiliate. Please let us know (using the Suggestion Box) if you prefer SOME limit or, possibly, a user controlled limit (i.e. YOU would decide the minimum order amount for each gift certificate you issue).

GIFT CERTIFICATES FOR CUSTOMERS!

Yes! Very soon, you'll also be able to issue gift certificates to you TripleClicks customers (both those on your Customer List and to PROSPECTIVE customers as an incentive for trying out TripleClicks)! Watch for the announcement.

WOW! That's a word we're saying a lot around the SFI corporate offices these days. Since our launch of the VersaPoints program, Co-Sponsorships, VP Rewards, etc., on August 5th, there has been an absolute whirlwind of growth and activity.

- We've seen new Executive Affiliates (EAs) skyrocket to over 25 times the prior daily average (a more than 2500% increase)!

- In just 21 days, more new, first-time EAs have been generated than the entire months of February, March, April, May, June, and July COMBINED!

- As I write this, we've added 271 new Bronze Team Leaders, 48 new Silver Team Leaders, 8 new Gold Team Leaders, and 10 new Platinum Team Leaders! Again, these numbers, are from just the last 21 days!...and represent more new, first-time Team Leaders than in all of 2008 and 2009 (through August 4th) combined! WOW! (There's that word again.)

- Traffic and sales at TripleClicks have also taken a major jump.

We've definitely had a HUGE breakthrough. And the numbers keep getting better because:

A. Large numbers of affiliates are now joining SFI and immediately getting active. People "get" the new VersaPoints system right away and it shows.

B. More and more leaders are becoming aware of the giant increase in activity in their groups and they're aggressively increasing their focus on SFI.

Because of all this, we may be only at the beginning of a long and prodigious growth cycle! Make sure you're not missing the boat. If you haven't yet fully got up to speed on what's happened, begin reading the articles below that have posted since August 4th.

IMPORTANT REMINDER!

I also wanted to make sure that, if you haven't achieved it already, that you're aware of what you'll receive with 2500 VersaPoints this month.

As first announced on August 5th, co-sponsors for all affiliates who joined SFI on or before July 31, 2009 will be assigned in September. Here's how we're going to assign them:

Every SFI affiliate who achieves 2500 or more VersaPoints in August is going to receive one equal share of the assignments of the tens of thousands of pre-August 1st affiliates and all the financial benefits that come with them.

As an affiliate's Co-Sponsor, you can immediately begin earning up to 24% CV commissions on all their purchases (plus an additional 4% to 8% on all their sales)! This benefit can also continue monthly (for exact commission details and qualifications, see the SFI Compensation Plan at: www.sfimg.com/compplan/ ).

How many can you expect to receive? That's very difficult to know because we have no idea how many of you are going to hit the 2500 points mark by the end of the month. However, we expect that each share will represent at least several dozen affiliates and possibly one hundred or more. It's definitely a potentially very valuable asset you'll want to pursue.

All assignments will be done completely at random or a combination of random and geographical matching. That is, we may assign a small percentage of Co-Sponsorships by COUNTRY. Example: If you live in Malaysia, a portion of your assignments may also be citizens of Malaysia. All others will be assigned at random.

Again, to receive your share of assignments, simply achieve at least 2500 VersaPoints by the end of August 2009. In early September, we will then make all the assignments and, shortly thereafter, they will appear in your genealogy (color coded in green).

Like some, I was a little confused and overwhelmed being a 2 year affiliate with SFI. After a few days I think I see the light. What makes VersaPoints unique and very innovative in a sense is that it pushes old and new affiliates alike to the right actions that build a business. I like to call it "Duplication by VersaPoints."

A major complaint that I have had since being with SFI is affiliates not taking action and not duplicating correctly. The point accumulation process actually teaches new affiliates how to build their business. The number one question that is being asked of me and folks in my downline now is "How do I get more points?" New affiliates are starting to see that "key" points come from that little area of the chart called TEAM BUILDING. The new VersaPoints system, Co-Sponsorships, VP Rewards, etc. introduced last Wednesday are having a MAJOR IMPACT:

- In less than six days, we've seen new EAs skyrocket over 10 times (a more than 1000% increase)!

- In just the first five days, more EAs were generated than the entire month of July!

- We've added over 60 brand new Bronze Team Leaders, ten brand new Silver Team Leaders, and two brand new Gold Team Leaders!

Today we are very excited to introduce to you a more powerful and simpler SFI. What we've done is rebuild SFI around a simple concept we call "VersaPoints."

In short, the more points you accumulate, the more money you'll earn with SFI!

More points also means valuable perks and "power tools" to help you fully maximize your profits.

How do you earn points?

Again, very simple. On your SFI Homepage, we now list for you all the actions you can take to earn points.

Each time you complete an action, you instantly earn the points attached to that action. Some actions are worth 20 points, some 30 points, some as much as 100 points, and so on. Once you complete an action, we remove it from your SFI Homepage.

You can also earn unlimited VersaPoints on sales and purchases from TripleClicks.

Then, at the end of the month, we'll add up all the points you've earned during the month and award you the benefits accorded by your point total. It's that simple!

As the new Benefits Chart shows, all ranks and earnings levels are now based on the VersaPoints you score each month.

That is, you can now earn EA (Executive Affiliate) status via points!...which can come from any combination of actions, sales, and/or purchases!

Yes, we've now made it so those who are just getting started and have minimal funds to invest, can earn executive status through recruiting other affiliates, getting trained, etc. Especially for many countries outside the United States, SFI has just taken a huge step forward in viability! And we look forward to welcoming many, many new Executive Affiliates across the globe.

You'll also notice that there are now SEVEN earnings levels, starting at 500 points.

VersaPoints doesn't stop there though. We also use your points for our Power Rank program. Power Rank allows you to see how you stack up against your fellow SFI'ers. The more points you accumulate, the higher your rank can go. We rank you in three ways:

A. Your overall Power Rank tells you where you rank amongst ALL active SFI affiliates worldwide.

B. Your Country Rank tells you where you rank amongst the active SFI affiliates in your country.

C. Your Class Rank tells you where you rank amongst the active SFI affiliates in your class (i.e. all SFI affiliates who joined SFI the same day you did).

TIP: You can see the points you've earned so far for the month, your cumulate point total to date, and also your current overall Power Rank, Country Rank, and Class Rank anytime at your SFI Homepage.

ANTICIPATED QUESTIONS:

Q: Why is a system based on points better than what we had before?
A: Much of what has compelled this change has come from the Power Rank program. As you know, Power Rank primarily is just a method for seeing how you stack up against your peers in SFI. Our affiliates just love it though and they love the points system. Since introducing the Power Rank program earlier this year, activities that have been tied to points are being performed at a rate of 10-20 times what they were prior to Power Rank! This is a HUGE increase!...and now imagine what we might see with all ranks, qualifications, and benefits tied to points production!

Bottom line: People just seem to immediately grasp a points-based system. It's clean, simple, easy-to-understand, and allows our affiliates to get started right away on the activities they need to do to build a successful business!

Q: Do we still have the titles of Executive Affiliate, Bronze Team Leader, Silver Team Leader, etc.?
A: Yes, the only difference is that now you qualify for them exclusively via points each month.

Q: What if I'm short a few points of the level I wish to achieve for the month? Can I buy products at TripleClicks to make up the difference?
A: Yes

Q: Can I achieve the Executive Affiliate (EA) level of 1500 points with a combination of actions?
A: Yes, you can achieve it with any combination of actions, sales, and/or purchases. So long as you generate a minimum of 1500 points during the month, you qualify as an EA.

Q: Can I also achieve the Team Leader levels with a combination of actions?
A. Yes, you can achieve all Team Leader ranks with combinations of actions, sales, and/or purchases. However, for Team Leader qualifications, there is a minimum of 1500 points and a maximum of 2000 points from sales or purchases.

Q: How does the old SVP (Sales Volume Points) translate into VersaPoints?
A: 10 SVP is equal to 1500 VersaPoints, which is the point total needed for Executive Affiliate status. So if you had a 10 SVP Standing Order to maintain your EA rank, you'll continue to maintain that same rank with your now 1500 VP Standing Order.

Q: So I don't have to do anything to my Standing Order to continue to be an EA?
A: That is correct. You're all set.

Q: I understand that I earn 100 VersaPoints for each personally sponsored EA, 150 for each personally sponsored BTL, and up to 300 for a PTL. When do I receive those points?
A: As soon as those affiliates achieve the rank, which in many cases will be when Standing Orders are processed.

Q: Why does it appear that my points dropped like a rock?!
A: You have your TOTAL, cumulative VersaPoints total and you have your VersaPoints total for THIS MONTH. Make sure you understand the difference. The former is what your Power Rank is based on. The latter (like getting to 10 SVP used to) determines your payouts, perks, etc. for this month. See your VP Personal Scoreboard to see both numbers and for more details.

The new "VersaPoints-centric" system allows us to do some amazing things. One of these is a sleek, new "getting started" system for brand new affiliates.

Effective today, brand new SFI registrants will experience a much simpler, streamlined experience upon joining SFI. New affiliates will be presented with three easy steps for getting started.

Step 1 is confirming their registration. Special note: Confirming ones registration is now REQUIRED to proceed.

Step 2 is whitelisting SFI's mailing address (mail@sfimg.com).

Step 3 is essentially a brief explanation of VersaPoints ("the more you score, the more income you can earn with SFI") and then directing them to the new SFI Homepage where they can begin earning points immediately from the pointable actions list provided there. Of course, there's some added excitement because we also point out that they've already earned 400 VersaPoints by confirming their registration and whitelisting SFI!

During this process, we also let them know that they will begin receiving our exclusive LaunchPad training starting the next day and how they can earn the four LaunchPad Rewards by completing each of the 30 days' lessons.

The SFI Affiliate Center (www.sfimg.com) is now sporting a new look!

For starters, we've installed a new footer and a new header featuring a new navigation bar. The best feature of the new navigation bar is its multi-tier, drop-down menus. That is, you can now go directly to just about any page in SFI from the navigation bar. Just place your mouse over any item in the navigation bar and you'll see an index pop up below it. Click on your desired destination and you'll go directly there without any additional clicking required.

The next thing you'll notice is a totally revamped homepage. At the top we've installed a neat little VersaPoints Status Panel. This panel will tell you exactly how many points you've scored so far for the month, and it also tells you how many points you're short of the next SFI earnings level.

This panel also provides detailed Power Ranking information. It shows you where your ranks compare to your goals. It also shows you how you're doing over the past 10, 30, 60, and 90 days. That is, you'll see what your rank WAS during these time periods and whether you've moved up or moved down in the rankings.

But the BIGGEST change is what you see immediately below the VersaPoints Status Panel...

This part of the SFI Affiliate Center is almost entirely new and we've built in some really great new features. Let's go though the four tabbed sections:

1. MY SFI TO-DO LIST
Like the name says, this is your to-do list for SFI. Complete the actions on this list and you'll get trained and you'll begin doing the actions required to create sales and income. At the same time, you'll be earning hundreds of VersaPoints, which boosts your Power Rankings and advances you to higher and higher earnings levels.

Tip: If an affiliate in your group asks you what they're supposed to do, be sure your response includes referring them to their SFI To-Do List. Virtually everything they need to learn and do is contained in this list. All they have to do is start knocking off the items on the list one by one.

2. MY MOVERS
The My Movers section provides you with an up-to-the-minute list of your ten most active affiliates--based on VersaPoints of course. Rather than having to wade through your genealogy to locate your "movers and shakers," we've put them right on your homepage for you so you can easily interact and assist them!

My Movers includes:

- Each affiliate's photo (if provided)
- All contact information provided (including phone numbers and instant messaging)
- Join Date (the date he/she joined SFI)
- Last login date
-Overall, country, and class Power Rankings
- VersaPoints so far this month (which you can click to see HOW they've earned each point)

To help you coach your movers, we've also included the number of VersaPoints they need to advance to the next earnings level in SFI. SHOW THEM how they can earn the points they need and you'll help them and you'll help yourself!

And if you need even more information, just click their SFI ID number to access our even-more-detailed Affiliate Manager screen in a new window.

Note that, by default, we'll display the ten most active from your entire organization. However, if you prefer to identify movers from within your newer affiliates, you can click the link in the top right corner and it will display for you only affiliates who are in their first 30 days with SFI.

Tip: Identifying rising stars in SFI hasn't always been the easiest thing to do, but with VersaPoints, that's no longer true. With VersaPoints scores, you're looking at everything an affiliate does, not just narrow activities like recruiting affiliates. Indeed, you wouldn't want to overlook an affiliate who may be "soft" in other areas but who's generating big sales!

Using VersaPoints totals, it's now super easy to see who's active and who's not, who's moving up and who's an up-and-coming star. And once you've identified a star, you've identified a potential goldmine. See this "Ask Gery" article for more on this important topic.

By the way, your genealogy has also been updated to now include VersaPoints columns: "VP(M)" provides THIS MONTH's VersaPoints. "VP(T)" provide ALL VersaPoints accumulated to date.

Another neat feature of My Movers is the ability to add comments about each affiliate. Just click on the pencil icon to the right of the affiliate's name and you'll be able to add comments and notes for your own use (no one but you can see these notes!). The pencil icon changes to green to let you know that you've made previous notes. This same notes feature has also been added to the genealogy!

3. HOT SPOTS
Hot Spots is a new index we've created that features 17 key SFI destinations and sites. Each "hot spot" has a brief overview, making it easy, especially for new affiliates, to get to know SFI's entire "universe."

4. MY GOALS
The My Goals section displays goal-related excerpts from your Affiliate Profile. Why does it get such a prominent spot in the Affiliate Center? Because setting goals and then regularly reviewing your goals is critical to achieving a high level of success! Make sure that you're visiting this important section at least once a week.

What else is new at the Affiliate Center? LOTS of little things, lots of text updates, and a few new key pages, such as:

This is a new index we've put in place that provides links to everything related to making money and getting paid with SFI. Check it out at:

By the way, something you'll notice that is missing from the Affiliate Center are references to the Maximum Income Plan (MIP). With the new focus on points, MIP, as it stood, we feel would have been confusing, so we've now folded the components of MIP into the overall system. And for those of you who are particularly sharp-eyed, no, we didn't get rid of the "D" (for Duplicate). Rather, it's now a part of "S" (Sponsor), as it's always actually been an extension of being a sponsor.

What's a Co-Sponsor? Co-Sponsor is a new position we've created that is assigned by SFI Corporate. Similar to the Sponsor, the Co-Sponsor shares in the financial benefits and support responsibilities of the affiliate of whom he/she is the assigned Co-Sponsor.

As an affiliate's Co-Sponsor, you can immediately begin earning up to 24% CV commissions on all their purchases (plus an additional 4% to 8% on all their sales)! Co-Sponsorships are assigned in two primary ways:

1. NEW AFFILIATE ASSIGNMENTS
For new affiliates (join date of August 1, 2009 or greater) SFI automatically assigns you as the Co-Sponsor on a number of newly-joined SFI affiliates.

Why does SFI do this? Very simply, we want to help all of our new affiliates get off to a great start! We succeed ONLY if our affiliates succeed. By assigning these Co-Sponsorships, every new SFI affiliate begins with a nucleus for his/her new business that he/she can immediately begin profiting from, and a foundation that he/she can build upon.

Of course, we can't just give away such valuable assets without something in return! Hence, to secure the Co-Sponsorships that have been assigned, we require that the new affiliate generate at least 1500 points by the end of his/her 15th day in SFI. This shows us that the new affiliate is serious about success with SFI and accepts the responsibility of being a Co-Sponsor. Note: Retaining Co-Sponsorship affiliates that have been assigned to you also requires that you maintain a minimum of 1500 VersaPoints each month.

Once a new affiliate has secured his/her assigned Co-Sponsorship affiliates (with 1500 points), they will immediately appear on his/her Genealogy, including contact information so that he/she may begin working with his/her assigned Co-Sponsorship affiliates. Co-Sponsored affiliates are color-coded green on the genealogy.

Note that while the new affiliate is busy earning the needed 1500 points, he/she is at the same time, positioning himself/herself for a top tier Power Ranking which can also win him/her up to $1500 (US) in the LaunchPad Rewards Cash Drawing! He/she may also make the VP Top 200 for the month and qualify to win even more cash, prizes, and/or rewards!

By the way, to make sure no new affiliate misses their 15-day deadline for these valuable Co-Sponsorships, we've added prominent countdown clocks to the SFI Affiliate Center and LaunchPad (note that if you've been in SFI for more than 15 days, you of course will not see these panels).

New affiliates will learn about the Co-Sponsorships being assigned to them via a daily e-mail notification. That is, for their first 15 days, they'll receive a notification of the newest affiliate that's been assigned to them along with a reminder of the number of points they need yet to accumulate to secure the affiliates being assigned to them.

2. PRE-AUGUST 1ST AFFILIATE ASSIGNMENTS
What if you're amongst the tens of thousands of affiliates who joined SFI BEFORE August 1st, 2009? Are you left out on Co-Sponsorships? Certainly not!

For starters, every month, you have the opportunity to receive a share of Co-Sponsorships we're earmarking for our highest VersaPoints scorers.

Each month, SFI will award these Co-Sponsorships to the top 200 VersaPoints earners of the month. Just be in the top 200 at the end of the month and you'll receive one share of Co-Sponsorships awarded. Each affiliate you are assigned as the Co-Sponsor of could earn you hundreds or even thousands of dollars annually in Co-Sponsorship Override commissions!

And there's another benefit of achieving a top 200 position, too. Being in the top 200 also automatically enters you in our monthly drawing for thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. For every 100 VersaPoints you score, you'll receive one entry in the drawing. That is, the more points you score, the more entries in the drawing you get and the better your odds of winning!

21 winners will be drawn each month. The first name chosen will receive $1000 cash. Ten runner-ups will receive $100 cash each, and the last ten names chosen will each receive 100 TripleClicks credits (a $29 value).

Now, here's a question you may have already been asking yourself: What about Co-Sponsors for all the tens of thousands of existing SFI affiliates? Will they also get assigned a Co-Sponsor? Yes! EVERY SFI affiliate will eventually be assigned a Co-Sponsor.

And here's how we're going to assign them:

Every SFI affiliate who achieves 2500 or more VersaPoints in August is going to receive one equal share of the assignments of all the current, existing affiliates and all the financial benefits that come with them!

How many can you expect to receive? That's very difficult to know because we have no idea how many of you are going to hit the 2500 points mark in August. However, we would expect that each share would represent at least several dozen affiliates and possibly one hundred or more. It's definitely a potentially valuable asset you'll want to pursue.

How will we assign the Co-Sponsor for the tens of thousands of existing affiliates? It will be either completely at random or a combination of random and geographical matching. That is, we may assign a percentage of Co-Sponsorships by COUNTRY. Example: If you live in Malaysia, a portion of your assignments may also be citizens of Malaysia. All others will be assigned at random.

Again, to receive your share, simply achieve at least 2500 VersaPoints in August. In early September, we will then make all the assignments and, shortly thereafter, they will appear in your genealogy (color-coded in light green).

So as to best streamline the new VersaPoints program, a few changes were in order. These include:

1. "Tip & Win" and the three points it generated daily has been replaced. You now will earn two points each day (maximum 180 pts.) for reviewing your Alerts Page (this is the first page you see at the Affiliate Center upon logging in), and you will earn another two points each day (maximum 180 pts.) for visiting your SFI Homepage. So you can now essentially earn four points a day just for logging in at the SFI Affiliate Center. And so you don't miss the news and tips that WERE on the Tips & Win page, we've moved these to the Alerts Page.

2. Because it would create a "catch 22" situation, you no longer receive points for the title you hold. Rather, the points you earn determine what your rank is (e.g. 1500 points makes you an Executive Affiliate, 3000 points makes you a Bronze Team Leader, and so on).

3. Points you receive for a personally sponsored affiliate has been increased from five to ten points. However, the affiliate must achieve a minimum of 600 points within 90 days to receive your ten points. This qualification is necessary to minimize fraud. Note that just by entering the Affiliate Center (i.e. confirming their registration and whitelisting SFI), a new affiliate has achieved 400 points, and there are many easy actions to earn the additional needed 200 points to get to 600 total.

Effective August 1st, a small number of changes have been made to maximize sales, recruiting, and overall commissions for all SFI affiliates.

1. Due to lack of interest, Cash Infusion Bonuses have been discontinued. However, a grandfather clause maintains this bonus for anyone who joined SFI prior to August 1, 2009.

2. The Executive Bonus has been discontinued. This was necessary in order to facilitate the new points-based system.

HOWEVER, we have NOT eliminated the payouts that the above two bonuses represented. On the contrary, they've been REPLACED AND ADDED TO in the compensation plan:

A. Co-Sponsorship Overrides (CSO's) now earn you up to 24% direct overrides ,plus up to 8% on customer sales overrides. And unlike the Executive Bonus pool, which gave you virtually no control over the amount earned, on CSO's you can interact with the affiliates assigned to you--giving you the ability to coach, train, and create mutually-profitable relationships that can increase your CSO's, substantially, over time.

B. The new VersaPoints Rewards program allows you to earn hundreds of valuable additional Co-Sponsorships every year, and the opportunity to win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes as well. Special Note: VersaPoints Rewards is launching with a top 200 qualification. After we are able to establish how it will pay out, we MAY expand qualification to a larger number of affiliates, but this will be decided at a later time. As SFI grows, we also plan to increase the cash amounts that can be won.

C. MaxMalls has been prominently repositioned as MaxMalls Pool. As more SFI affiliates start using MaxMalls links in their online shopping, and increasing traffic at TripleClicks drives more sales to MaxMalls merchants from retail customers, MaxMalls Pool can become a nice addition to everyone's monthly commissions. D. We've also increased the maximum payouts in three areas. You can now earn up to 72% Customer Commissions (was 70%), up to 40% Affiliate Overrides (was 35%), and up to 14% Executive Overrides (was 12%).
