Last day to get in on Opti-Build for July!

Tomorrow (July 1st),  Opti-Build will continue to assist thousands to “build optimally” for the month of July and automatically follow The Diamond PlanBut to participate in July, you need to be set up by the end of today (June 30th)!

Three things you need to know to participate:

  1. If you’ve qualified as a BTL this month (or expect to by the end of the day), be sure you’ve opted in to participate.  You can do that HERE.  Note that your sponsor does not need to be active or a Designated Diamond themselves for you to benefit from the Opti-Build program.
  2. If your sponsor has a lot of first-level Team Leaders, you’ll need to be one of his/her top five Team Leaders by the end of the day (by rank and/or total VersaPoints if a tiebreaker is needed) to be designated a Designated Diamond for July. We recommend that you contact your sponsor if you haven’t already to determine your status.
  3. If you’re a Team Leader, you may want to do some reassignments to maximize your results in July.  You must get this completed by the end of the day.  Get directions and info on the reassignment rules HERE.  Read all about how to do reassignments and benefits of reassigning affiliates HERE.

Opti-Build update

We’re 20 days in…and Opti-Build is definitely heating up!  Indeed, nearly 10,000 new affiliate sign-ups have already been awarded to affiliates participating in the new program!  If you’re not aware of our powerful new Opti-Build program, you can get all the details HERE and HERE.

Build it!

Now, as you may realize, Opti-Build is a highly complex programming undertaking…and when it’s operating as part of a database as large and as active as SFI’s, it’s a real “beast!”  Because of this, we’ve had to tweak a few things and eliminate a couple features that were proving to be unfeasible—things that could not be determined during our pre-launch, non-live testing.

Here are the changes:

1. If your sponsor is not a Designated Diamond (DD), you cannot receive Opti-Build spillover. HOWEVER, with the new Active Sponsor policy announced HERE, you may be rolling up to a NEW sponsor soon that WILL allow you to benefit from Opti-Build upline spillover.  And be sure to carefully digest the below Q&A section, which explains how Opti-Build can still be highly beneficial for you even without the “icing on the cake” of an active upline.  Remember, as always, “If it’s to be, it’s up to me!”

2. In our original announcement, we stated that once you reached the rank of PTL (Platinum Team Leader), participation in Opti-Build was no longer allowed.  PTLs can now fully participate…until they attain the rank of DTL (Diamond Team Leader).

3. If you’re not a DD, you cannot participate in Opti-Build to have your sign-ups automatically flow into the Opti-Build stream.  However, you can still manually reassign all your sign-ups as needed, which can accomplish the exact same results, it’s just not automatic. See this Knowledge Base article to learn about how to do reassignments and why it’s a highly valuable strategy. And/or search on the keyword “reassignment” from the Affiliate Center’s search engine.

One more thing…

We are continuing to refine some of the automatic reassignment algorithm code.  Reassignments starting in May should be “smoother” and more consistent.  We appreciate your patience as we make these refinements!


Q&A

Q: My sponsor, nor my sponsor’s sponsor, is active or qualified as a DD. Does that mean I can never receive Opti-Build spillover?
NO. Opti-Build is just getting started. Lots of formerly inactive affiliates are becoming active now due to Opti-Build and we expects thousands more to do the same in the coming months. So, your sponsor and/or sponsor’s sponsor could join in the fun soon. To help that along, be sure to let your sponsor/upline know that you’re a Designated Diamond and committed to becoming a DTL via Opti-Build, and you’d like to see their participation in the program so you can work together for mutual gain.  There’s also the new Active Sponsor policy now that will eliminate many layers of inactive sponsors, starting on May 1st.

In the meantime, it’s very important that you always think about Opti-Build for what it can do for you from you on down (and not about potential upline spillover for you).

Think about it this way: Most every affiliate joining SFI is going to be aware of Opti-Build. And of these that you’re recruiting, who are they going to look to you? You (their upline) of course! Same with all your existing group members. If you’re participating, a LOT of them are going to become Team Leaders and commit to Opti-Build, too, to get part of the spillover you’ll be generating…and then the people under them will likely do the same…and on down the line it can go. We’re certainly seeing a lot of such activity right now companywide.

So, as you can see, this is all potentially very big for you. In other words, whether or not there is spillover involved for you right now, Opti-Build can still be a VERY powerful business-building tool for you. Keep your focus on THAT!

Q: I’m utilizing a Builder Bundle to supplement my production of POAs (Personally Originated Affiliates) for my team’s Designated Diamonds.  What is the keycode for sign-ups generated by Builder Bundle?
For now, 1101 is the keycode for both S-Builder Co-op and Builder Bundle…because the latter is essentially a subset of the former, using the same advertising sources, etc. We may, however, be able to give Builder Bundle its own code at a later time.

Q: Should I be receiving PSAs from my Builder Bundle subscription by now?
If you bought your Builder Bundle unit in March, you’re receiving PSAs currently (see keycode 1101s in your Genealogy). If you bought your Builder Bundle unit in April, it would start in May for you…and so on. That is, Builder Bundle is set up to start delivering the PSAs to you in the month following your purchase (though delivery of all 8 PSAs may take longer than one month).

New Active Sponsor policy

Beginning May 1st, 2017, SFI will employ a new, accelerated roll-up/compression policy so as to provide a higher level of support and leadership companywide.

Here’s how it will work:

Being a bonafide sponsor requires being active, engaged, and supportive of those you are the sponsor of.  Unfortunately, many affiliates sponsor others only to essentially abandon them.  To mitigate these situations, all sponsors of affiliates will now be required to:

Log in at least once AND have at least 250 VersaPoints every 45 days

Affiliates failing to meet these two requirements will immediately and permanently forfeit all PSAs to their sponsor.  If the receiving sponsor also fails to meet the two requirements, he or she will forfeit as well…and so on up the line.

Therefore, if your sponsor and, say, four other upline members between you and an active upline Team Leader are inactive, you’re going to move up FIVE generations in May!  Yes, if you don’t currently have an active sponsor, you’re going to have one soon!

This new accelerated roll-up/compression policy is also designed to align with the objectives of The Diamond Plan and Opti-Build.screenshot_908

IMPORTANT TIP: Some of you, especially if you’re a Team Leader with a lot of generations of “dead wood” in your group, you may find yourself with dozens or even hundreds of new, forfeited affiliates on your first level in May.  We strongly encourage you to treat this as a business-building opportunity!  That is, if you’ll reassign these persons under the Designated Diamonds (DD) in your group, you have the opportunity to not only juice your DDs but also juice these new, received affiliates who can now have the opportunity to get more active and become DDs and participate in Opti-Build themselves!  A win/win for all!


Q&A

Q: What’s the main objective of this policy?
To help ensure that as many affiliates as possible have an actively-engaged and supportive sponsor and upline team.

Q: My sponsor probably doesn’t currently meet the two requirements, but still I’d like him to continue to be my sponsor.  Anything I can do about this?
You can contact your sponsor and make sure he is aware of the new policy so he can get himself qualified by the end of April.

Q: If someone is not meeting the new requirements, will they no longer be an SFI affiliate?
No. They will only forfeit their PSAs.  They will still be an affiliate until they’ve gone an entire year without logging in (per our standard policy). And as an affiliate, they can still earn unlimited commissions and even start sponsoring again and build a new team if desired.  The new rule just helps ensure that every SFI affiliate has an actively-engaged and supportive sponsor.

Q: Could this roll-up of people increase my commissions?
It could, yes.  The more people that move into your payline (i.e., the generations where you’ll earn Matching VP), the more you could earn.  You could also increase your Direct Commissions for those who rolled up to your first level.  However, we do want everyone to be aware that rolling up all these people to Team Leaders could mean more Matching VP is earned (i.e., more shares of the TripleClicks Executive Pool), which could reduce pool share values somewhat.  But in the long run, the positives will certainly outweigh any temporary negatives for most if not all.

Q: So, this roll-up of people could increase my commissions even if I don’t receive any on to my first level?
If you’re a Team Leader, it definitely could, yes.  This is because the more people that move into your payline (i.e., the generations where you’ll earn Matching VP), the more Matching VP shares of the TripleClicks Executive Pool you’ll earn on.

Q: If I’m the direct beneficiary of forfeited affiliates, do they become my PSAs?
Yes, they become your PSAs, with full sponsor rights, including the ability to reassign them as desired.  Tip: If you’re reassigning, be sure to follow the guidelines of The Diamond Plan (e.g. build a 5×5 structure).  More on reassignments to optimize Opti-Build HERE.

Q: Will sponsors who are in jeopardy of forfeiting their PSAs receive any advance notice from SFI?
Yes. Starting in May, we will automatically send a warning email at 35 days and 44 days so the sponsor is informed of the pending forfeiture of his/her PSAs.

Q: What if I was ill, away, or had some other situation that wouldn’t allow me to fulfill the requirements for awhile?
For such an instance, you may put your account on Vacation Mode and we won’t include the days you’re away in the 45 days.  Note, however, that the limit on using Vacation Mode for this purpose is six months.

Q: Could someone forfeit their PSAs and then get them back by meeting the requirements later?
No.  Once they’ve been forfeited, they cannot be reclaimed.  The only exception would be if the upline person who received them agreed to reassign them back to the person who forfeited them.

Q: When will we see the results of these roll-ups?
We plan to complete all the roll-ups during the first week of May.

Q: Will we have to wait 45 days for each level to roll up?
No. During the first week of May we will identify every affiliate who is not meeting the requirements and roll up their PSAs.

Q: How often will these new roll-ups happen?
From May 1st on, every day our system will identify the affiliates who are not meeting the requirements and roll up their PSAs.

Q: When a PSA is rolled up to a new sponsor, what happens to any affiliates that might reside under that PSA?
The entire downline/group under the PSA will move along with the PSA.  They’ll still have their same sponsors, but they will have moved up one generation in the company.

Q: Just logging in and having 250 VP every 45 days doesn’t ensure that someone will be a good sponsor, does it?
This new policy isn’t a cure-all because, yes, there can still be sponsors who log in somewhat regularly and have the required VP, but still are essentially absent from their business.  But we believe this policy will help a LOT and positively impact thousands of existing affiliates who currently have a less-than-ideal sponsor.  And should we need to go further, make the requirements even higher in the future, we will consider that too.

Opti-Build™ has arrived!

Today, the first day of April 2017, we start a new chapter in SFI, with Opti-Build now assisting thousands to “build optimally” and empowering them to automatically follow The Diamond Plan.

In case you missed the Opti-Build announcement, you can get all the details HERE, but the basics are simply this:

For years we’ve been extolling the benefits of building a “5×5” organization (5 affiliates on your first generation, 25 on your second generation, 125 on your third, 625 on your fourth, and so on), as outlined in SFI’s Diamond Plan.  Opti-Build helps you actively and automatically build this 5×5 “dream team,” and every member of your team, too!

Now that Opti-Build is LIVE, here are EIGHT IMPORTANT THINGS to know:


1. Participate with the right mindset!

Nothing is more important than to enter and participate in the program with the right mindset.  That is, Opti-Build is NOT about sitting around and waiting for spillover (sign-ups given to you from above).  If that’s your mindset, Opti-Build is not going to work for you.  Yes, you may very well receive spillover, but it’s critical that you take full responsibility for the success of Opti-Build for you and your downline members.  “If it’s to be, it’s up to me!”

Make certain that you’re personally contributing a steady supply of sign-ups (through your own advertising and/or with the help of S-Builder Co-op or a Builder Bundle unit).  If you’re not feeding into the system, don’t expect those above you to feed you!  

Yes, this is the time to be a leader and set an example for all of those in your downline.  Show ’em how it’s done!  And when they duplicate what you’re doing, the effects of Opti-Build can be astounding for you and your team of Designated Diamonds!

Remember, Opti-Build is all about “synergy,” about focusing every participant’s efforts on a common goal…of creating Diamond Team Leaders far and wide.  So resolve to be someone who consistently gives into the system, not someone who is just a taker, and teach this mindset throughout your team!


2. New Opti-Build email notifications

Each time you’re responsible for a new sign-up that is automatically reassigned by Opti-Build, you’ll receive a special email notification letting you know the name, location, and email of the person…and the name, location, and email of the Designated Diamond in your group they were reassigned to.


3. New Opti-Build filters for Genealogy

We’ve added two QuickFilters to the Genealogy.

  • Select the “Opti-Build-received” filter to see the people reassigned to you via Opti-Build from an upline member.
  • Select the “Opti-Build-reassigned” filter to see the persons you were the Originator of but who were reassigned by Opti-Build to a Designated Diamond in your downline.

4. Keycode for friends

So you’re participating in Opti-Build.  Great!  But what if you want to sponsor a friend or family member, and ensure they land on your first level?  By using the keycode 9999, you can exclude up to three sign-ups a month from Opti-Build.  That is, if you add “.9999” on the back of your SFI ID number on your SFI Gateway URL, Opti-Build will not apply the reassignment algorithm, and they’ll come into SFI with you as their direct sponsor.

But don’t forget that you can do this a maximum of only three times per month!


5. New Designated Diamonds

If you qualified as a Designated Diamond at the end of March, your Affiliate Snapshot, Leadership Page, etc., should now be sporting the DD badge.

For those of you who didn’t quite make it, who were unable to get designated as a Designated Diamond by the end of March, you’ve got a fresh month ahead of you to qualify  again by the end of April.  If your goal is to become a Designated Diamond, now’s the time to get busy.


6. Team Leader Co-ops when participating in Opti-Build

Here’s the rule:

  • If you’re participating in Opti-Build at the 100% level, no sign-ups you generate can go towards any Team Leader Co-ops you maintain.  Opti-Build take precedence.
  • If you wish to participate in Opti-Build AND operate a Team Leader Co-op, too, you’ll need to have your participation in Opti-Build set at 50%.  With this setting, half of your sign-ups will flow into Opti-Build…and the other half will go towards your Team Leader Co-op(s) and use whatever placement rules you’ve set up.

If this sounds “messy” to you, you might want to consider discontinuing your Team Leader Co-op.  Why?  Because Opti-Build is very much like a co-op already.  Opti-Build automatically pools together the advertising and lead generation resources being invested in by the participants, and then uses its AI to smartly place the sign-ups in a way that is designed to maximize success and income for every participant.  Opti-Build also, by requiring people to “raise their hands” and become Designated Diamonds to participate, has identified the workers (“work with the workers“) in your organization.


7. New Diamond Team Leader rule

As shared in the Opti-Build announcement, we’re easing the requirement for becoming a DTL.

Your goal should absolutely be to develop five FIRST-level PTLs as the Diamond Plan guides.  However, we now allow the PTLs to be in any of your legs (minimum of one PTL in five different legs). Put another way, if there is a PTL within 12 generations, below one of your PSAs, we’ll count your PSA as a PTL as it pertains to your DTL qualifications.


8. Unstoppable Contest paused

So that everyone can focus on the objectives of the new Opti-Build program in April, we’re pausing the Unstoppable Contest. We hope to “un-pause” it later this Spring.  Watch for announcements.


 What’s next?

Opti-Build has already been excitedly received by thousands of SFI affiliates, and April should be a very exciting first month.  What’s next is to get even more people involved in this new program.
