New “Badge Quest” game!

badge_quest

Today we are very excited to introduce to you our exclusive new game for SFI affiliates!  We call it…BADGE QUEST.

The game is simple:  Collect badges and win prizes and recognition!

There are FIVE levels in Badge Quest:

LEVEL ONE (Rising Star)

Upon earning 10 badges, you’ll advance to the first level in Badge Quest…Rising Star.  As a Rising Star, you’ll also automatically receive these prizes:

You’ll also receive the Badge Quest Rising Star badge:

kmjbmibgjbblklkb

And next to your rank badge at the top of the Affiliate Center, you’ll also now sport one trophy icon to reflect your level one status in Badge Quest.

LEVEL TWO (Pro)

Upon earning 25 badges, you’ll advance to the second level…Badge Quest Pro.  As a Pro, you’ll also automatically receive these prizes:

You’ll also receive the prestigious Badge Quest Pro badge:

And next to your rank badge at the top of the Affiliate Center, you’ll also now sport two trophy icons to reflect your level two status in Badge Quest.

LEVEL THREE (Master)

Upon earning 35 badges, you’ll advance to the third level…Badge Quest Master.  As a Master, you’ll also automatically receive these prizes:

You’ll also receive the prestigious Badge Quest Master badge:

pjlfmoekolapnink

And next to your rank badge at the top of the Affiliate Center, you’ll also now sport three trophy icons to reflect your level three status in Badge Quest.

LEVEL FOUR (Grand Master)

Level four, Grand Master, is the first of two elite levels in Badge Quest.  To attain the Grand Master level in Badge Quest, it’s no longer about the quantity of badges you have.  Instead, qualification is now based on the point values we’ve assigned to each badge (the harder the badge is to attain, the more points it’s worth).  If the total points value of your collected badges puts you in the top 200 of all players, congratulations, you’re a Badge Quest Grand Master!

As a Grand Master, you also qualify for MONTHLY prizes!  Yes, every month that you’re a Grand Master, you’ll automatically receive these prizes:

You’ll also receive the prestigious Badge Quest Grand Master badge:

gocheekldncdpcdl

And next to your rank badge at the top of the Affiliate Center, you’ll also now sport four trophy icons to reflect your elite, level four status in Badge Quest.

LEVEL FIVE (Grand Master Elite)

Level five in Badge Quest is Grand Master Elite.  To attain this highest level in Badge Quest, the total point value of your collected badges must put you in the top 20 of all players.

As a Grand Master Elite, you also qualify for MONTHLY prizes!  Every month that you’re a Grand Master Elite, you’ll automatically receive these prizes:

You’ll also receive the prestigious Badge Quest Grand Master Elite badge:

And next to your rank badge at the top of the Affiliate Center, you’ll also now sport five trophy icons to reflect your elite, level five status in Badge Quest.

NOTE: PRIZES SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Prizes listed are for the current month.  SFI reserves the right to adjust the prize list for each Badge Quest level at the beginning of each new month.

BADGE QUEST BOUNTY

screenshot_1842

The monthly bounty drawing is one of the most exciting parts of the new Badge Quest game.  It works like this:

  • Each month, for every* new badge earned by all SFI affiliates–companywide–SFI will put $.03 USD** into the Bounty pot (the current pot amount will be displayed on your WIN IT tab), with a guaranteed minimum cash prize of $500.
  • As a Badge Quest player, you’ll choose a 5-digit number on your Badges tab at the Affiliate Center.  This will be your entry in the drawing.
  • At the end of the month, we will draw one number at random each day for five days.  If your number matches the five numbers drawn (as ordered on day five), you win the pot!
  • If more than one person has the winning number, the pot will be equally split amongst the winners.
  • If no one has the winning number, the pot “rolls over” and will keep growing until the next month when five new numbers will be drawn. Special Note: Rollover will be limited to no more than three months.  If the pot has rolled over for two months, on the third month we will draw, at random, a number that has been already chosen by one or more players–assuring that there is a winner.
  • Badge Quest players are eligible to win the Bounty pot the first time they achieve the level of Rising Star, Pro, and Master. Players achieving the level of Grand Master and Grand Master Elite are eligible to win the Bounty pot each month they hold the Grand Master or Grand Master Elite title.
*Excludes SFI rank badge and TC member badge–which are awarded automatically to all affiliates.
**SFI reserves the right to adjust the ratio of dollars per badges earned if necessary.

Q & A

Q: Are collecting badges important…and do they help me build my SFI business?
Because most of our badges are specifically designed as recognition of the activities that create a successful business in SFI…yes, and yes!  To learn more about why badges are important and can help you build a great team in SFI, please review this LaunchPad lesson.

Q: How many badges are available?
There are currently over 100 badges available.

Q: Does Badge Quest only use SFI badges?
No. Badge Quest includes all SFI and all TripleClicks badges, too.

Q: Where can I find out what my current level is in Badge Quest and what I need to advance to the next level?
This information is provided for you on the new Badges tab at the Affiliate Center.

Q: Are the prizes awarded retroactively?  For example, if I am qualified today as a Badge Quest Pro, do I get the Rising Star and Pro prizes?
Sorry, no.  The program is designed specifically to award achievement going forward from the debut date of the game, not for things you’ve already achieved.  This of course also makes it feasible for us to award bigger prizes.  HOWEVER, we are making a special exception for those who are currently qualified as a Badge Quest Master.  If you are a Master now (October 20, 2016), you will be awarded the Master prizes (20 TCredits, 30 Promo Bids, 150 VP, etc.) if you add a minimum of three new badges by the end of the month (October 2016).  To clarify, to however many badges you have now; add a minimum of three more by the end of the month to receive the Master prizes.

Q: If I drop back a level in Badge Quest, do I get the prizes when I requalify again at my former level?
No. Prizes will be awarded only once per level.  Special Note: Once you achieve the level of Rising Star, Pro, or Master, you cannot be “demoted.”

Q: When are prizes awarded?
Prizes for the first three levels are awarded upon achieving a new level (same day).  For the Grand Master and Grand Master Elite levels, leaderboard positions are finalized at 11:59:59 pm CT on the last day of the month and prizes are awarded the following day (first day of each month).

Q: What about badges that new affiliates cannot attain because they represent obsolete programs or that are otherwise unavailable now?
They will still count for the first three levels (Rising Star, Pro, and Master), but these badges have no point value for Grand Master and Grand Master Elite, as it be would unfair to new affiliates who would be unable to collect those badges.

Q: Where can I see how many points each badge is worth for the the Grand Master and Grand Master Elite levels?
Click HERE for the points value for each available badge. Important Note: For badges that have the trim options, you’ll earn 2x the badge’s base value if your badge has the bronze trim, 3x the badge’s base value for silver trim, and 4x the badge’s base value for gold trim.

Q: For Grand Master and Grand Master Elite, can I lose my title if other players overtake me in points?
Yes.  To retain your elite title, you must maintain your position in the top 200 for Grand Master or top 20 for Grand Master Elite each month. See the Badge Quest leaderboard to determine exactly where you are currently positioned.

Q: Achieving the top 200, and especially achieving the top 20, could be a very challenging task.  Might those numbers be increased?
We want the Grand Master and Grand Master Elite levels to truly be elite.  However, as SFI grows and/or as more people begin participating in Badge Quest, we definitely will look at increasing the numbers to reflect a larger pool of players.

Q: Should I encourage my team members to participate in Badge Quest?
Definitely!  By competing in the game, they’ll be learning all about SFI and TripleClicks and participating in many valuable business-building activities. Badge Quest makes building a business more fun, too!

Q: Is there any way to know when my team members do well in Badge Quest?
Yes, for all affiliates in your group who you are the sponsor or co-sponsor of, you’ll be immediately notified whenever they achieve a new Badge Quest level so that you may congratulate them and help them advance even higher.  One of the best and easiest ways is to send an E-Card. See the Badge Quest category for a variety of cards designed just for congratulating advancements in Badge Quest.
